3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 4/24/19
Eddie Rosario has been on fire to start 2019, but facing Justin Verlander could cool him off a bit. Which other players should we consider ignoring in their particular matchups?

Javier Baez, SS, Chicago Cubs

FanDuel Price: $4,400

Javier Baez has been white-hot to start 2019, ripping his way to a .991 OPS and seven home runs to start the year.

His kryptonite could show up in the form of Los Angeles Dodgers starter Walker Buehler, who's been nasty against same-sided bats. Going back to 2018, Buehler put together a 3.37 xFIP, 27.0% strikeout rate, and allowed only a .292 slugging percentage in this split.

Last year also showed that Baez was better against southpaws (143 wRC+, .933 OPS) than righties (127 wRC+, .865 OPS), so spending up for the shortstop may not be the best play in this exact spot.
