Fantasy Baseball: 5 Pitchers to Stream in Week 5
Homer Bailey and his revamped splitter draw a light-hitting Tigers offense. Which other widely available starters should have your attention in Week 5?

Homer Bailey, Kansas City Royals

Start: May 3rd at Detroit Tigers
ESPN ownership: 5%

Standard league owners would be forgiven for leaving Homer Bailey to rot on the waiver wire, with the 32-year-old's 5.70 ERA seeming to point to his continued decline and fantasy irrelevance.

Yet a 3.53 FIP and 24.2% strikeout rate should catch our eye. So too should a revamped splitter that's earned the Kansas City Royals righty a whopping 24.5% swinging strikes while limiting hitters to a .255 OPS across 106 offerings this season.

Bailey's shaky recent track record aside, he seems like a intriguing spot-start option even in standard leagues with the light-hitting Tigers on deck in Week 5.
