Price: $2,200
Often a source of cheap upside, Jackie Bradley is in play for the usual reasons tonight -- he's priced near the minimum and will have the platoon advantage, while the Boston Red Sox offense is positioned to do plenty of scoring.
Oakland Athletics right-hander Aaron Brooks has a 5.33 ERA through five starts this season, and while he's not necessarily pitching as poorly as that would indicate, his 4.49 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) is still a fairly weak mark and is consistent with his career average 4.55 at the major league level.
Bradley, plainly, has not been good from the dish in 2019. But he's also dealing with a paltry .228 batting average on balls in play (BABIP), which falls way below his .295 career average and .299 from last season.
He generally puts in some solid work against right-handed pitching, with a wOBA of at least .329 and ISO above .185 in the split in three of the last four seasons. Overall, in the time he owns a .334 wOBA and .206 ISO on a 38.1% hard-hit and 37.6% fly-ball rate against righties, which is easy to like at $2,200.
