Dan Haren has been a streaming machine, logging four quality starts in five outings against inept offenses. Haren’s only start this week is against the Giants in San Francisco, a pitcher's park. The Giants have been one of the worst offenses at home this season, scoring 29 runs and hitting a meager 4 home runs at AT&T Park. Not to add more salt into the sad Giants offense wound, but the Giants hit more ground balls than fly balls (1.10 ground ball to fly ball ratio), and their .315 team slugging is the worst in baseball. That may be bad for San Francisco, but it's great for a fly ball pitcher like Haren.
