Power. Park. Points for the Pinstripes.
Although Yankee Stadium didn't rank highly on ESPN's overall park factor last year, it does one thing exceptionally well: it allows the long ball. And on a team built like the Yankees, that's a recipe for sweetness.
Only the Astros have hit more tanks than the Yankees, and only three teams have a higher isolated slugging percentage. The Yankees have five individual batters who have a slugging percentage at .450 or higher, and four guys have an on-base percentage at .350 or higher. They have high-end talent that is perfect for DFS with the emphasis on extra-base hits.
I mentioned the Astros, so I should make a note about these rankings. I decided to rank the teams based on their composite points per game. If I had gone based on points per plate appearance, the Astros would have been within the top five. However, because the Yankees average almost 1.5 more plate appearances per game, they actually had a higher total output than the Astros. That's the risk you run with a hit-or-miss team like Houston, though the upside associated with said risk is gargantuan.
