Eduardo Rodriguez has logged nine starts in which he has allowed two runs or less including two of his last three; he allowed three runs July 31 against Tampa Bay. Rodriguez and the Red Sox take Miami Wednesday in a favorable matchup.

The Marlins have been a punchless offense without Giancarlo Stanton, slugging .361 as a team at home this season with an OPS of .666. Those numbers are good for second worst overall. Miami continues to pace the majors with a 1.33 ground ball to fly ball ratio, and are tied with the Padres for fewest extra base hits at home.
