FanDuel Price: $3,300
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Christian Yelich has hit well recently, but it is unlikely people go out of their way to target hitters against Vincent Velasquez. The Marlins are projected for just 3.7 runs tonight, which will further push their hitters off of people's radars.
Why You Should Use Him:
Velasquez, while awesome, isn't untouchable. He's shown command issues in back-to-back starts, walking seven combined batters. He also is a fly-ball pitcher, allowing a career 45.7 percent fly-ball rate, giving some additional upside to the hitters.
Velasquez, a right-hander, has also struggled some against lefties in his short career. Yelich, Miami's best left-handed bat, has put up terrific numbers against righties in his career.
Yelich has a hit in each of his past three games, including two home runs and five RBI. He has a chance to remain hot tonight and will come at a lower ownership than he should.
