4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 5/6/16
Despite a slow start, J.D. Martinez has huge upside tonight. Who else should you target for big-time fantasy value?

Chris Coghlan, 3B, Oakland Athletics

FanDuel Price: $2,100

Chris Coghlan has a nice matchup tonight against Ubaldo Jimenez on the road at Camden Yards, which is not only one of the most hitter-friendly parks in the Majors but also is especially friendly to lefties.

Jimenez hasn't been great to start the season and owns a 4.11 SIERA that is in line with the 4.08 he's sporting over his career. He has also allowed a career .318 wOBA with a 4.17 xFIP against left-handed hitters.

Coghlan's numbers through 26 games this season aren't great, but his BABIP currently sits at .161 (compared to his career average of .310) despite a 28.3 percent hard-hit rate that is close to his 27.3 percent average.

He's a strong candidate to rebound, making his incredibly low price tag very appealing, and he has been fairly solid against right-handed pitchers over his career with a .338 wOBA and .159 ISO.
