FanDuel Price: $2,200
Regardless of some hiccups through the start of the season, any time the Blue Jays are up against a weak lefty, like they are tonight against Martin Perez, they have huge upside -- and that's reflected in their having the third-highest implied total of the day.
Perez is off to a rough start to the season with a 5.30 SIERA, and his career-long numbers don't inspire much confidence either. He owns a 4.33 SIERA while having allowed a .333 wOBA to righties with a 4.41 xFIP.
Russell Martin has really struggled to start the season, but with no home runs despite his 28.1 percent fly ball and 35.1 percent hard-hit rates, there's plenty of reason to be hopeful for improvement. He has a career .354 wOBA and .159 ISO against lefties, and hitting in a Blue Jays lineup that is so well-positioned tonight, he has huge upside.
