Why He Will Go Overlooked:
We're going back to the well with Kyle Seager. He was under five percent owned in cash games yesterday, and he went 0-for-3. It's unlikely that he is overly popular tonight.
Why You Should Use Him:
Seager's game last night was certainly a disappointment, but he has a chance to right his wrongs in an even better matchup tonight against Zach Neal. Neal has been effective in the minors this season but posted a 4.29 ERA between Double- and Triple-A last season. He made it just three innings in his first Major League start, giving up three runs.
Seager has crushed right-handed pitching in his career, raising his slugging percentage, ISO, wOBA, hard-hit rate, and walk rate against them, while lowering his strikeout rate. He should be a big part of Seattle reaching their 4.2 implied team total, while hitting in the heart of the order.
He's always a risky play due to his boom-or-bust style, but he could certainly boom in this matchup. Give him a look in tournaments.
