5 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Hitters for 5/25/16
With the masses again swarming to play David Ortiz, Chris Davis should see lower ownership. Who else will go overlooked tonight?

Manny Machado, SS, Baltimore Orioles

FanDuel Price: $3,700

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Manny Machado was very popular yesterday, so I could certainly be off base on this one. However, Xander Bogaerts, Corey Seager, and Carlos Correa all are in terrific matchups and are playing for teams with higher Vegas implied team totals. On a slate with little to pay up for at pitcher, I believe people will pay up for these shortstops in better on-paper matchups, leaving Machado slightly under-owned.

Why You Should Use Him:

With all of the other shortstops in better matchups, people may forget that Machado is easily the best with the stick among all of the shortstops, and he is cheaper than all the names mentioned earlier. Until his price goes up, Machado deserves serious consideration every night while eligible at shortstop.

While Baltimore doesn't have a huge implied team total, this matchup is certainly exploitable for Davis and Machado. Similar to Davis, Machado has crushed right-handed pitching throughout his career -- elevating his wOBA, ISO, slugging percentage, and hard-hit rate against them. 28 of Machado's 35 home runs came against righties last season. This game isn't being played at Camden, but Minute Made Park is a favorable environment for hitters, too.

Machado is a viable play in all formats tonight, and a Davis-Machado stack is a high-upside way to fade Boston in tournaments.
