5 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Hitters for 5/26/16
On a day with a surprisingly deep catcher player pool, Matt Wieters may go overlooked. Who else will fly under the radar?

Carlos Gonzalez, OF, Colorado Rockies

FanDuel Price: $3,000

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

As mentioned with Harper, outfield has plenty of appealing options. Carlos Gonzalez has showed signs of busting out of his slump recently, but he's unlikely to be popular today, playing outside of Coors.

Why You Should Use Him:

After a five-game hitless streak, CarGo has shown signs of life recently -- collecting 6 hits and 4 runs over his past three games, good for a 12.3 FanDuel-points-per-game average.

He has a matchup against the light-throwing right-hander Clay Buchholz tonight, who has struggled mightily in 2015. Buchholz has posted career worsts in both ERA (5.92) and SIERA (5.21) this season, which rank seventh- and fourth-worst among starters respectively.

Buchholz has put up worse numbers against lefties throughout his career, which bodes well for CarGo, a lefty who makes a living off of destroying right-handed pitching. Gonzalez has put up gaudy numbers against righties throughout his career, and this season has been no exception.

All of the attention will be focused on the outfield bats on the other team, but Gonzalez carries similar upside at a much lower price and ownership. He's a very interesting tournament option if you can stomach fading the Boston outfielders.
