FanDuel Price: $3,900
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Bryce Harper continues to be under-owned recently, and that should continue today with a plentiful outfield player pool. The Colorado Rockies' outfielders like Charlie Blackmon and Carlos Gonzalez will draw some attention at Coors Field, Pittsburgh Pirates' outfielders Andrew McCutchen and Starling Marte are both in terrific spots against Justin Nicolino. The Boston Red Sox' outfielders once again are worth targeting in a matchup against Tyler Wilson. Miguel Sano has now homered in four straight games and should be a popular play, as well. Regardless of which slate you are playing, outfield is loaded.
Why You Should Use Him:
Harper has shown signs of turning it around at the plate recently, hitting safely in four straight games, mashing two home runs in that stretch.
He gets a chance to do some more damage tonight in a matchup against righty Jeremy Hellickson. Hellickson has been a much better pitcher this season (3.52 SIERA) than historically (4.25 career SIERA), but he's still had his fair share of struggles against lefties this season.
Harper has absolutely mashed right-handed pitching in his career, and this game will take place in Philadelphia, which is home to the league's highest home run factor over the past three seasons.
He's not as safe of an option as most of the names mentioned earlier, but Harper has exciting potential and is way too cheap. Give him a long look in tournament lineups.
