5 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 5/30/16
With several appealing top-end pitching options, Ian Kennedy is likely to go overlooked in an excellent matchup against the Rays. Who else will fly under the radar?

Whit Merrifield, OF, Kansas City Royals

FanDuel Price: $2,600

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Outside of Kansas City (and now the Chicago White Sox), nobody knows who Whit Merrifield is. As stated with Harper, outfield is very deep today. It's unlikely Merrifield is a popular option.

Why You Should Use Him:

Merrifield has been all over the place for the recently injury-ravaged Royals, most recently playing second base and batting second in the order. The rookie has responded well to his added opportunities, logging multi-hit games in five of his past six games, a span in which he averaged 14.6 FanDuel points.

The streaking Royals will look to stay hot in a matchup against Matt Andriese, who has been effective this season but is still unproven. Andriese's 4.36 SIERA suggests there's some significant regression coming for his 2.63 ERA. If that comes tonight against Kansas City, you're going to want exposure to the Royals' red-hot No. 2 hitter.
