Despite being up against a right-handed pitcher in Jason Hammel today, you'll want to take a long, hard look at some Dodgers' righties.
Hammel hasn't been pitching as well as his 2.17 ERA would have you believe as he's sporting a 4.26 SIERA on the season. He has also allowed a career .319 wOBA against right-handed hitters, not an overly impressive number. The game being in Wrigley Field also serves to add some value to right-handed bats.
Justin Turner hasn't had a great start to the season, but he's been fairly unlucky. He is sporting a 31.8% hard-hit rate that is above his career average, but he still has a lowly .264 BABIP.
He has also posted reverse platoon splits over his career, hitting better against right-handed pitching with a .342 wOBA and .136 ISO, putting him in a great spot today.
