5 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 5/31/16
With several appealing third base options, Matt Carpenter is likely to go overlooked in a favorable matchup. Who else will fly under-the-radar?

Miguel Sano, OF, Minnesota Twins

FanDuel Price: $4,100

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Like Nola, Miguel Sano is unlikely to go completely under-the-radar with the way he has hit recently, but there are enough viable outfield options that he should be underowned. Players from the Coors game, specifically Charlie Blackmon, Carlos Gonzalez, and Jay Bruce are likely to be popular options. At the top end, Jose Bautista and Mike Trout are both in good matchups and have high implied team totals. Among all of these options, you should be able to get Sano at a reasonable ownership.

Why You Should Use Him:

Sano collected a single and a run last night, but it seemed like a big let-down after four straight games with home runs. The young outfielder's power is very real, and we knew it was just a matter of time until he got hot. He has a chance to build on his 11 home runs this season in tonight's matchup.

Sano and the Twins will take on lefty Eric Surkamp tonight, who boasts a career 6.49 ERA. Sano hits lefties much better in his career, which is exemplified in his absurd 55 percent career hard-hit rate against southpaws.

The Twins are projected for 4.4 runs against Surkamp according to Vegas, and Sano will likely be a big part of reaching that total. He is an excellent play in any format tonight.
