5 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 6/3/16
With a plethora of enticing pitching options, Drew Pomeranz is likely to go overlooked, despite a favorable home matchup. Who else will fly under the radar?

Drew Pomeranz, P, San Diego Padres

FanDuel Price: $8,900

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Drew Pomeranz will also lose ownership to Syndergaard and Maeda. He also draws a matchup against the Rockies, whose offensive success is inflated because of their numbers at Coors.

Why You Should Use Him:

While the Rockies certainly are a force to be reckoned with at Coors, this game is taking place at the anti-Coors, as Petco ranks 29th in Park Factor over the past three seasons. Colorado hasn't been the same team on the road this year, dropping from second in wOBA at home to 20th on the road with just a .307 mark.

Pomeranz has already shown the ability to handle this offense, limiting them to four hits and two runs in one previous meeting. That game took place at Coors Field, which makes it even more impressive.

In addition to struggling on the road, the Rockies have struggled against lefties this season, ranking 17th in wRC+ against lefties with the 9th-highest strikeout rate.

Pomeranz has struggled a bit with his control recently, which has kept him from pitching deep into games. As a result, he is likely not quite safe enough for cash game consideration, but he is a terrific tournament play.
