4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 6/7/16
It's easy to love Giancarlo Stanton with such a low price tag. Who else should you target for big-time fantasy value?

Giancarlo Stanton, OF, Miami Marlins

FanDuel Price: $2,900

Pat Dean will be on the mound tonight, and through five MLB appearances, he has looked fairly solid, posting a 3.95 SIERA. He allowed a .698 OPS to righties in 2015 -- not bad but not a number that should scare you off -- and has allowed a .350 wOBA to righties in the Majors.

Even in the midst of a down year, Giancarlo Stanton is hard to fade when he's priced this low. He has a .247 BABIP on the season with a 38.6 percent hard-hit rate, and even on the bad side of variance there, he's sporting a decent .330 wOBA and a nice .250 ISO. He has also still excelled against lefties this year, sporting a .399 wOBA and .300 ISO, numbers that aren't all that far behind his career .415 wOBA and .322 ISO.

Dean isn't a strong enough pitcher to be scary in this matchup, and Stanton is an elite slugger who is still crushing lefties even in the worst season of his career.
