FanDuel Price: $3,300
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Anthony Rendon is a very under-appreciated player and will likely be underowned once again with Matt Carpenter and Alex Rodriguez likely to be popular options.
Why You Should Use Him:
Rendon has now homered in two of his last three games, continuing his recent hot streak. Since May 10, Rendon is batting .348 with a .596 slugging percentage, a .247 ISO, and a 39.7 percent hard-hit rate.
Rendon will look to stay hot tonight in a favorable matchup against James Shields. After giving up 10 runs in his most recent start, Shields' ERA is up to 4.28. In his career, Shields has posted pretty even splits against lefties and righties, which makes most of Washington's bats safe to target tonight.
Rendon has pretty split-neutral numbers throughout his career and should have no problem dealing with Shields. With Washington projected for 4.3 runs tonight, Rendon is an interesting tournament pivot off of Matt Carpenter.
