FanDuel Price: $3,200
Many DFS players continue to overlook Byung-Ho Park, and that will more than likely continue to be the case tonight. With a .222 average versus right-handed pitching and a matchup with Steven Wright, he’ll likely be less than 5.0 percent owned in tournaments.
But digging deeper, the matchup isn’t as scary as it appears. Despite a 38.8 percent hard hit rate, Park’s BABIP is only .257 this year, so some positive regression should be coming his way soon.
A solid 9 of Park’s 11 home runs have come against righties this year, and he’s posted ISO and wOBA splits of .244 and .330, respectively.
Steven Wright has shut down left-handed hitters this year, holding them to an impressive 18.0 percent hard-hit rate. But, lucky for us, Park isn’t left-handed. For righties, they own a much higher 31.0 percent hard-hit rate against Wright.
At just $3,200, Park is one of the best tournament options tonight.
