5 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 6/17/16
Today's slate has several excellent pitching options, which will leave Lance McCullers overlooked in an enticing matchup. Who else will fly under-the-radar tonight?

Rougned Odor, 2B, Texas Rangers

FanDuel Price: $3,100

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Jose Altuve, Robinson Cano, and Dustin Pedroia all have some of the highest implied team totals tonight, while Ian Kinsler has been absolutely raking recently. With so many options at second base, Rougned Odor likely won't stand out today with the Rangers projected for a modest 3.9 runs.

Why You Should Use Him:

Odor has come back with vengeance following his suspension, posting a .291 batting average, .618 slugging percentage, and 47.5 percent hard-hit rate in 13 June games. A solid 5 of his 12 homers this season have come during that span, and the lefty has hit safely in 10 of the 13 games.

Odor will look to stay hot in a lefty-righty matchup against Michael Wacha, the owner of a 4.91 ERA. To be fair, Wacha hasn't allowed more than four runs in three straight starts, but his 4.54 xFIP against lefties this season (3.92 career mark) more than makes up for his recent improvements on the mound. Odor has made his living off of right-handed pitching, posting much improved numbers. He should have no problem with Wacha tonight.

Some of the top-end options mentioned earlier are likely safer options than Odor, but it's hard to ignore what he has been doing recently, especially when he is this cheap.
