FanDuel Price: $3,700
Evan Longoria has been mashing this season, hitting 17 home runs and posting a 136 wRC+. He’s been great against both lefties and righties, but he’s displayed much more power against right-handers. With .298 ISO and .368 wOBA splits, he’s hit 15 long balls in reverse split situations.
Longoria will face Josh Tomlin tonight, who I’m not sure can keep up this facade for much longer. Despite his 8-1 record and 3.27 ERA, he’s somehow allowing a 36.6 percent hard-hit rate. He’s been hit hard from both sides of the plate, with 13 long balls already allowed.
But with a 43.5 percent fly-ball rate and .207 ISO allowed, this is a fantastic matchup for all Rays’ right-handed hitters.
At $3,700, Longoria is the top third base option tonight.
