5 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 6/20/16
A deep shortstop player pool will keep Javier Baez underowned today in a good matchup. Who else will fly under the radar?

Willson Contreras, C, Chicago Cubs

FanDuel Price: $2,200

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

This one is tough because we don't know exactly where Contreras will bat yet. If he is anywhere near the top of the order, he is likely to be a very popular value play at just $2,200. If he is hitting in the bottom third of the lineup, which is what I expect, his ownership will likely be held in check.

Why You Should Use Him:

Top prospect Contreras has just one Major League at-bat to his name, but he made it count, launching a pinch hit home run last night. The youngster slashed .350/.439/.591 at Triple-A this season prior to his call-up, and several scouts think he can be a difference maker at the Major League level with his bat.

Contreras will draw the same righty-lefty matchup as Baez against the reeling Jaime Garcia. If Garcia struggles again tonight, the youngster could certainly get in on the action. At such a cheap price tag, it's hard to ignore Contreras in his first Major League start. He is an excellent way to get exposure to the top pitching options.
