Tim Lincecum managed a 1.50 ERA in his debut this season, but that came with a much less impressive 5.59 SIERA. That performance was also coming off of a 2015 season in which he posted career-worst marks with a 4.82 SIERA, 18.0 percent strikeout rate, and 11.4 percent walk rate, meaning it looks like his best work is well behind him at this point in his career.
Coco Crisp is a switch-hitter, but has done his best work against right-handed pitchers over his career, with a .269/.332/.403 slash. With Lincecum's recent struggles and the 4.32 xFIP he posted against left-handed hitters last season, he puts Crisp in a promising spot.
