FanDuel Price: $4,200
Wil Myers is having the definition of a breakout season. A former top prospect for the Rays, Myers is on pace -- or has already surpassed -- his career high in most offensive categories. With a .285/.335/.518 slash line and 16 homers with 10 stolen bases, there’s a reason that his FanDuel salary has risen all the way to $4,200.
He’s hit left-handed and right-handed pitchers pretty equally in 2016, but the big split that jumps out is his line drive rate. Against lefties, it jumps more than eight points to 25.4 percent.
His ISO and wOBA splits of .228 and .377, respectively, combined with his stolen base potential, make him an excellent selection on most nights. But now that he’s going from the spacious Petco Park to the bandbox that is Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, he gets an extra boost in park shift.
Facing left-hander Cody Reed, who is making just his second career MLB start, Myers is a top option tonight.
