With a slate full of appealing starting pitching options, several pitchers in good spots will go overlooked, including Jose Quintana against the Twins.

Jose Quintana, SP, Chicago White Sox

FanDuel Price: $8,800

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Jose Quintana is coming off of his worst start of the season just in time to go overlooked among all of the excellent pitching options on tonight's slate. With all of the previously mentioned starting pitchers, it's unlikely that Quintana is a hot commodity tonight.

Why You Should Use Him:

Quintana struggled uncharacteristically in his most recent start, but a matchup against the Red Sox is enough to make any pitcher look bad. He'll look to get back on track in a much more inviting matchup against Minnesota tonight.

The Twins rank 25th in wOBA against lefties this season, and their 24.5 percent strikeout rate against south paws is the second-worst in the league. In six starts against teams in the top-15 in strikeout rate against lefties this season, Quintana has averaged 6.2 innings, 1.6 runs, and 6.2 strikeouts, good for a 2.27 ERA and 8.39 K/9.

Outside of his last start, Quintana has been one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball this season, posting a 2.63 ERA and 23.8 percent strikeout rate. Don't let one start diminish what he has accomplished in 14 other excellent outings.
