4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Studs to Target on 7/20/16
David Ortiz has been crushing right-handed pitching this year, and he gets a juicy home matchup against the struggling Matt Cain.

David Ortiz, 1B, Boston Red Sox

FanDuel Price: $4,100

David Ortiz is doing things no one has ever done in their age-40 season. With a .445 wOBA, 23 jacks, and more walks than strikeouts, Ortiz may win an MVP in his final season.

Today, he has a mouth-watering home matchup against righty Matt Cain and the Giants.

Ortiz -- our top-ranked hitter -- has taken a blowtorch to right-handers this season, racking up a monster .479 wOBA against righties. He’s also been out of this world at home, mashing to the tune of a .495 wOBA at hitter-friendly Fenway Park.

Cain, on the other hand, just hasn’t been good, and it’s been that way for a while. Cain hasn’t posted a SIERA under 4.00 since 2013, and he enters this one with a 4.89 SIERA and meager 16.1% strikeout rate. Lefties have given Cain an especially hard time, as he’s surrendering a massive .391 wOBA to southpaws.

As the cherry on top for Ortiz, Boston’s gaudy lineup has an implied total of 6.02 runs, the highest on the slate by a significant margin.
