Stacking can be a controversial topic in many daily fantasy sports, but you can count baseball as a glaring exception. Here, it's universal.
Using multiple players on the same team on a given day presents you with the opportunity to double dip. If one of your players hits an RBI double, there's a good chance he drove in another one of your guys. When you get the points for both the run and the RBI, you'll be climbing the leaderboards fast.
Each day here on numberFire, we'll go through four offenses ripe for the stacking. They could have a great matchup, be in a great park, or just have a lot of quality sticks in the lineup, but these are the offenses primed for big days that you may want a piece of.
Premium members can use our new stacking feature to customize their stacks within their optimal lineups for the day, choosing the team you want to stack and how many players you want to include. You can also check out our hitting heat map, which provides an illustration of which offenses have the best combination of matchup and potency.
Now, let's get to the stacks.
New York Yankees
There is the slightest flicker of hope that the New York Yankees can catch the Boston Red Sox in the American League East. To keep those hopes alive, they will need to pummel Matt Andriese of the Tampa Bay Rays tonight on their way to another win.
Andriese has actually been pretty effective this season, firing 81 innings with a 4.34 SIERA, 20.8% strikeout rate, and 7.4% walk rate. Where he finds himself in a bit of a pickle is against same-sided bats -- righties have blasted him for a .386 wOBA and 2.22 home runs per nine innings pitched, which is bolstered by a 38.4% hard-hit rate and 34.5% fly-ball rate.
That's even worse news as the Yankees rank second in team wOBA versus right-handed pitching (.339), and this dude can sure sock 'em.
Time to edit the history books!#AllRise for Aaron Judge – the new record holder for most HR by a rookie! pic.twitter.com/KuE2otXn7B

Aaron Judge has posted a .436 wOBA in this situation, including a 44.9% hard-hit rate and 41.9% fly-ball rate. Because of that prowess, he will cost a cool $5,100, but there are two cheaper righties we can focus on to still get the big right-hander into lineups.
Gary Sanchez ($3,700) is not as hot as Judge, but he is still very adept against same-sided arms, ripping his way to a 133 wRC+, 36.6% hard-hit rate and 34.7% fly-ball rate. If you can't afford Judge, Sanchez is a nice consolation price.
Last but not least, check out Clint Frazier, who is only $2,200. He may be cheap, but he has popped righties for identical 43.3% hard-hit and fly-ball rates, including a .213 ISO.
