We begin the work week with an eight-game slate, and arguably tonight's biggest pitching question surrounds the recent velocity woes of Patrick Corbin. Meanwhile, the Rockies hit the road this week, so we return to a more typical menu of hitting spots, with the Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox, Seattle Mariners, and Minnesota Twins looking at the highest implied team totals.

Carlos Carrasco ($9,800 on FanDuel): Patrick Corbin has by far the best overall numbers on the board, but as we'll get into in the next section, there are enough worries from his recent performances to relegate him to a tournament-only play. That leaves us with Carlos Carrasco as tonight's top cash-game option. Carrasco has been inconsistent, but he is coming off a masterful complete game against the Milwaukee Brewers, an outing in which he racked up 14 punchouts. For the season, Carrasco's strikeout rate (25.9%) is slightly down from last year (28.3%), but his swinging-strike rate (14.1%) is top-10 among qualified starters, so it wouldn't be surprising to see the strikeouts get a bump over the long haul. His SIERA also remains strong (3.44), and he doesn't get in trouble with walks (5.4%). Carrasco is a massive road favorite against Mike Fiers, and the Detroit Tigers are showing a meager 3.47 implied team total.
