Monday's most difficult choice could boil down to whether you side with Trevor Bauer or Gerrit Cole, who both have an argument for tonight's top honors at pitcher. Meanwhile, the New York Mets get the Coors Field bump on offense, and some hot weather should also give a boost to the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium. As of this writing, the Cleveland Indians have the slate's highest implied team total versus Dylan Covey, but we should continue to be wary of the matchup as Covey has proven to be a more difficult foe with a 3.49 SIERA and 61.0% ground-ball rate this season.

Pitchers to Target
High-Priced Pitchers
Trevor Bauer ($11,200 on FanDuel): Trevor Bauer has been on an absolute tear of late, racking up double-digit punchouts in five of his last six starts, including 12 strikeouts against this same Chicago White Sox team last week. The White Sox are striking out 24.9% of the time against righties, so Bauer ought to be able to keep the good times rolling in tonight's sequel. For the year, Bauer is carrying a pristine 3.09 SIERA and 31.1% strikeout rate, and he would be a shoo-in this evening were it not for the presence of our next entry. Still, given his recent form, it's hard to see Bauer failing in such a high-upside matchup, perhaps giving him the slightest of edges. However, keep tabs on some thunderstorms in the forecast, which could ultimately make the decision for us if things get too dicey.
