We wrap up the week with our usual packed Friday slate, headlined by some elite pitching at the top in Chris Sale and Jacob deGrom. Hitting is a bit more spread out, but we have some familiar teams in appealing spots, like the Nationals and Red Sox.
Our daily helper is available every day to analyze FanDuel's main slate and help give you a starting point when you're building lineups. Be sure to also incorporate our great tools into your research process. On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.

Chris Sale ($12,500 on FanDuel): A quick glance at Chris Sale's velocity graph shows a distinct upward trajectory, and the punchouts have come in lockstep, with Sale coming off a 38.7% strikeout rate in June. He's rattled off double-digit strikeouts in four of the last five games, and his 2.49 SIERA trails only Max Scherzer for the year. As always, the Kansas City Royals aren't the best matchup for getting whiffs, but it might not matter with the way Sale is dealing these days. The Royals have only managed a .293 wOBA against lefties, and display a mere 2.94 implied team total. Sale has some stiff competition directly below, but it might be hard to pass him up tonight.
