Eight games adorn FanDuel's Monday main slate, and although Coors Field is naturally a highlight, with Julio Teheran and Kyle Freeland taking the mound, this may not be a gimme matchup for either the Rockies or Braves. The Athletics, Mariners, and Phillies also draw high implied totals, and even the Royals and Orioles are in plus matchups.

Pitchers to Target
High-Priced Pitchers
Justin Verlander ($10,700 on FanDuel): Justin Verlander is easily the most notable name of tonight's pitching crew, and while facing the Yankees isn't ever a great feeling, given all the injuries they've suffered early on, what's left of their active roster posted just a 99 wRC+ versus right-handing pitching in 2018. That hasn't necessarily stopped them from putting up some runs so far, as shown from their demolition of the Orioles over the weekend, but at least this isn't as dangerous a lineup as we're accustomed to. Verlander has been a mixed bag through two starts, but a 3.30 SIERA, 26.5% strikeout rate, and 8.2% walk rate is pretty solid, and his 15.3% swinging-strike rate is actually higher than what he posted last year (14.5%), so the punchouts should only rise moving forward. As of this writing, the Yankees only have a 3.44 implied total, the second-lowest of the slate.
