Thursday's main slate drops down to five games tonight, and while it doesn't look like the best night for offense on paper, the inexpensive pitching prices will allow you a great deal of flexibility with your bats. The Red Sox stand out with the evening's highest implied total (5.46) against the Blue Jays.

Pitchers to Target
Jon Gray ($8,500 on FanDuel): Jon Gray enjoys pretty much the best park factor boost you can find in the Majors, going from dreaded Coors Field to San Francisco's Oracle Park. The results weren't there for Gray in 2018 with a 5.12 ERA -- some of which could be blamed on both the tough home ballpark and a lack of health -- but he still put up his typical strong peripherals, including a 3.68 SIERA, 24.6% strikeout rate, and 7.0% walk rate. We seem to be following a similar script through two starts to open this season as Gray is once again showing a wide split between his ERA (5.68) and SIERA (3.07), but he remains an interesting option in road starts. In his first away game, he racked up 10 punchouts against the Marlins on his way to 45 FanDuel points, demonstrating that in plus matchups, he can convert those peripherals into results. The Giants are the perfect foe for a similar outing, ranking 28th in wRC+ with a 25.0% strikeout rate so far, and their active roster was terrible versus right-handed pitching last year (88 wRC+).
