Monday checks in with a mid-sized nine-game slate that's roughly equal parts hitting and pitching, though there arguably isn't a true gimme spot for either side. In terms of implied team totals, the Braves, Red Sox, and Astros enter the day at the top of the list.

Justin Verlander ($11,300 on FanDuel): Justin Verlander submitted some mixed results to begin the season, but he's now strung together three straight performances exceeding 50 FanDuel points, and he's one of only a handful of aces who have lived up to expectations to this point. Although he hasn't quite matched last year's stellar marks, it's tough to complain about a 3.32 SIERA, 30.5% strikeout rate, and 6.0% walk rate through six outings, backed by one of the top lineups in the league to help him net those ever-important wins. However, the matchup isn't great against the Twins tonight, who not only sport the third-best wRC+ against righties (120) but also the second-best strikeout rate (18.6%). Even so, we probably shouldn't bet against Verlander when he's on his game, and Minnesota only has a 3.79 implied total.
