We're looking at just six games on Thursday's main slate, and this is probably the weakest pitching slate we've seen in a while. No hurler reaches the $10k mark tonight, and the only guy with a strikeout rate above 26% also happens to have one of the night's hardest matchups. On the bright side, the lack of pitching does give a boost to our bats, with the Angels, Yankees, Mariners, and Indians in especially soft matchups.

On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.
Pitchers to Target
High-Priced Pitchers
Jose Berrios ($9,300 on FanDuel): Thursday's priciest arm is also arguably the "safest" one on an otherwise barren pitching slate. Jose Berrios comes in with a pretty pedestrian 4.38 SIERA and 21.5% strikeout rate that isn't really befitting of a high-priced hurler on FanDuel, but what makes us interested in him is his fantastic matchup against the White Sox. Against right-handers, Chicago's active roster is a gold mine for strikeouts with a league-high 26.3% rate, alongside an unimposing 92 wRC+. Despite Berrios' modest numbers, his strikeout rate is still the third-highest of the slate, and this matchup will give him more upside than just about anyone else. While his SIERA suggests that he's fortunate to have such a low ERA (2.96), it's also worth noting that Berrios has been remarkably consistent in 2019, allowing more than three earned runs only three times in 20 starts.
