Thursday's six-game slate may be short on teams, but it actually presents a reasonable selection of hurlers, while the bats of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Colorado Rockies should be bumping at Coors Field tonight.

On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.
Pitchers to Target
High-Priced Pitcher
Jacob deGrom ($11,500 on FanDuel): Priced $2,200 above the next highest arm, Jacob deGrom is alone at the top tonight, and he's also easily the slate's most talented pitcher. Checking in with a 3.35 SIERA, 31.9% strikeout rate, and 15.7% swinging-strike rate -- all tops on the board -- deGrom is one of those rare hurlers who's avoided the longball in 2019, allowing just 0.83 home runs per nine innings. He may get a mediocre matchup against the Cubs, but pitcher-friendly Citi Field should help keep them off the board, and deGrom still has a higher ceiling than just about anyone else taking the mound tonight.
