Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) will start the season on the injured list, per manager Dave Roberts.
Not an unexpected move as the Dodgers' ace has battled shoulder issues this spring. Kershaw is not expected to be out long, though, with a mid-April season debut likley. Walke Buehler or Rich Hill are the most likely candidates to start on Opening Day for L.A.
Kershaw was projected for a 2.87 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and 186 strikeouts in 184 2/3 innings before the injury news came out.
