St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt (elbow) is fully recovered from his injury after "three months off from competition had enabled him to give some rest and get some treatment on it."
After recent rest allowed the Cardinals' star to throw and swing a bat without soreness or pain, Goldschmidt believes his elbow is currently "100 percent" and ready. As long as the season starts on time, fantasy players should expect Goldschmidt to anchor the heart of the Cardinals' batting order and play an everyday role.
Goldschmidt's yearly projection includes a .266 batting average with 11 home runs and 34 RBI in 203 total at-bats.
