Minnesota Twins pitcher Kenta Maeda (groin) will start Saturday versus the Cleveland Indians.
Maeda experienced some tightness in his groin during his most recent turn in the rotation, but he felt fine during a between-starts throwing session on Tuesday and is on track for Saturday. The 2020 American League Cy Young runner-up, Maeda's ERA has jumped from 2.70 to 5.26 this season.
Maeda is averaging 20.2 FanDuel points per start this season. numberFire's models currently project him to score 30.8 FanDuel points on Saturday.
