Boston Red Sox infielder Bobby Dalbec is sitting Sunday in the team's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Dalbec is being replaced at first base by Marwin Gonzalez against Phillies opener Brandon Kintzler.
In 255 plate appearances this season, Dalbec has a .218 batting average with a .673 OPS, 10 home runs, 24 runs and 35 RBI.
