Baltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Ryan Mountcastle is back in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against left-hander Ryan Yarbrough and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Mullins appears to be getting a routine breather against a left-handed pitcher. Austin Hays is starting in left field and batting leadoff while Ryan McKenna plays center and hits seventh. Anthony Santander is returning to the lineup in right field and hitting cleanup.
numberFire’s models project Hays for 9.6 FanDuel points and he has a $2,700 salary on Monday. Santander ($2,600) is projected for 9.6 and McKenna ($2,000) is projected for 7.1 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Orioles currently have the lowest implied total (3.6 runs) in the majors on Monday. Yarbrough's walk rate this season (4.2 percent) ranks in the 97th percentile and the Orioles' walk rate is tied for the third-lowest in the majors against lefties.
