The Chicago Cubs announced that Kyle Hendricks will be the starting pitcher for Thursday's Opening Day game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Hendricks will get the nod for the Cubs' first game of the season for the third straight season, with Justin Steele pitching behind him on Saturday and Marcus Stroman at third in the rotation.
Hendricks is currently projected to pitch 5.2 innings on Thursday and to score 21.5 fantasy points, with 3.8 strikeouts and 2.9 earned runs.
