Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Manuel Margot has been placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday.
Margot is dealing with a left hamstring strain. As a result, the scorching-hot outfielder will be going on the shelf for at least 10 days. The Rays, in perfect Rays fashion, will replace Margot on the active roster with relief pitcher Ralph Garza Jr.
In 102 plate appearances this season, Margot has a .348 batting average with a .912 OPS, 3 home runs, 10 runs, 21 RBI and 5 stolen bases.
