The Minnesota Twins are placing starting pitcher Bailey Ober on the 15-day injured list with a right groin strain Monday, retroactive to June 2.
Ober missed time earlier this season due to a right groin strain and had made three starts since returning from the IL. It's not clear how much time he is expected to miss in his second stint on the shelf, but Cole Sands is expected to replace Ober in the Twins' rotation.
Ober is averaging 21.9 FanDuel points per game this season with a 4.01 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP, as well as a 20.4% strikeout rate and a 4.9% walk rate.
