Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Yoshi Tsutsugo is starting Sunday in the team's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Tsutsugo was originally slated to begin Sunday's game on the bench. However, Ke'Bryan Hayes has been scratched due to a knee ailment. Now, Tsutsugo is getting the nod at first base, batting eighth in the order versus Phillies starter Aaron Nola.
In 189 plate appearances this season, Tsutsugo has a .169 batting average with a .478 OPS, 2 home runs, 21 runs and 18 RBI.
