Chicago White Sox infielder Josh Harrison has been scratched from the lineup Sunday in the team's game against the Oakland Athletics.
Harrison is dealing with an illness, and as a result, he has been removed from the lineup. Leury Garcia will now take over versus Athletics starter Cole Irvin.
In 376 plate appearances this season, Harrison has a .252 batting average with a .679 OPS, 6 home runs, 44 runs, 24 RBI and 1 stolen base.
