Chicago White Sox outfielder Leury Garcia is in the lineup Sunday in the team's game against the Oakland Athletics.
Garcia was originally slated to begin Sunday's contest on the bench. However, that has changed after Josh Harrison was scratched due to an illness. Now, Garcia will start at third base, batting eighth in the order versus Athletics starter Cole Irvin.
In 311 plate appearances this season, Garcia has a .213 batting average with a .507 OPS, 3 home runs, 38 runs, 20 RBI and 2 stolen bases.
