Washington Nationals catcher Riley Adams is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Bryce Elder and the Atlanta Braves.
Adams started the first two games of the series and went 1-for-7 with three strikeouts. Tres Barrera will catch for Paolo Espino and bat ninth.
Barrera has a $2,000 salary on Wednesday and numberFire’s models project him for the lowest output among all hitters at 4.6 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Nationals’ implied total (3.36) is tied for fifth-lowest in the majors today.
