Cincinnati Reds infielder Kyle Farmer will be the designated hitter in Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Bryse Wilson and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Farmer will bat third again and shift into the DH role while Jake Fraley starts in right field over an idle Aristides Aquino. Donovan Solano (eye) remains out of the lineup again.
Farmer has a $7,500 salary on the single-game slate and our models project him for 9.2 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, Wilson has the third-worst strikeout rate this season (15.5%) among Wednesday's listed starters.
