Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera is not starting in Saturday's lineup against the Minnesota Twins.
Cabrera will take a seat after Javier Baez was named Saturday's designated hitter and Ryan Kreidler was positioned at shortstop.
Per Baseball Savant on 293 batted balls this season, Cabrera has accounted for a 4.8% barrel rate and a .275 expected weighted on-base average.
